![]() During the week you can partake in free thumbites (chicken tenders, pizza, hot dogs, sliders etc.) right at your machine or table. Note that, if play long enough, you can have it "comped" and use a much shorter line. It seems to be a favorite for birthday parties. At times it can be very crowded and has long waiting lines. There are Seafood, Chinese, American, Meat, Mexican, Mongolian, Salad bar, dessert stations. Everyday they have a special ranging from lamb to lobster etc.Crab legs are always on the menu so is the turkey and prime rib (which quality has gone done somewhat over the last year). The buffet is OK and on-par with those of other Indian casinos in the area (much better than Rincon, a notch below Pala). ![]() The steak house is pricey but service is very good so is the food. Note that alcohol is served only in the Steak house and 2 other restaurants (not on the casino floor). Based on our experience at least twice as good as Rincon. The slots are some of loosest (most of time). ![]() It has some of the friendliest staff of any Casino / Resort in the San Diego area. ![]() It feature a first class golf course which is usually not crowded (no waiting), a first class hotel at a moderate price and a casino which features both classical slot machines and new ones which have yet to appear in Vegas. If are in the San Diego area (or even LA) and are looking for a resort with golf or Casino or both, Barona is it. ![]()
